Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Who we are and scope of the service

Journn ("we", "the Service") is a software platform that automatically generates and publishes SEO content for websites, using artificial intelligence, keyword research and integrations with major CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify and others). The Service is provided by [Legal company name], registered at [Registered address], VAT/Company number [VAT/Company number] ("Journn", "we").

By using Journn you accept these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, you may not use the Service.

2. Account and registration

To use Journn you must create an account, authenticating with your email or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to register. If you register on behalf of a company or agency, you confirm you have the authority to do so, and these Terms apply to both you and the organization you represent.

3. How the Service works

Journn analyzes your website and industry, identifies keywords you can realistically rank for, and generates articles using AI models, publishing them automatically to your CMS on a daily editorial schedule handled by an autonomous agent — or, depending on your settings, keeping them as drafts for your review before publishing. The specific details of the plan (limits, pricing, features) are shown in the app at the time of subscription.

4. Generated content and editorial responsibility

Content generated by Journn for your website belongs to you: you may edit, publish or delete it freely. We remain the owners of the software, models, processes and technology that generate it.

Content is produced by AI models and, while subject to automated quality and data-integrity checks, may still contain inaccuracies or errors. You remain solely responsible for what gets published on your site, even when publishing happens automatically: we recommend reviewing published content periodically, especially on regulated topics (e.g. health, legal, financial).

To publish, Journn uses the CMS credentials (e.g. WordPress, Shopify) you provide us: we use them exclusively to create and update the articles we generate, never for any other purpose, and we store them encrypted (see our Privacy Policy).

5. Plans, pricing and billing

The Service is a paid subscription billed monthly, processed by our payment partner Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the authorized reseller (Merchant of Record) of our services. Journn never receives or stores your payment card data.

Prices and limits are shown in the app and may change with notice; changes do not apply retroactively to a billing period that has already started.

6. Acceptable use

By using Journn you agree not to: - use the Service to generate illegal, defamatory, deceptive content or content that infringes third-party rights; - attempt to access other users' data or accounts without authorization; - subject the Service, its APIs or its endpoints to an abnormal, automated or scripted volume of requests designed to bypass the usage limits we apply to protect all users; - decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the platform's source code, except as permitted by applicable law; - resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or limit access for any account that violates these rules, even temporarily, while we review the situation.

7. Third-party services

Journn relies on third-party providers to deliver some of its features: AI models (Anthropic, OpenAI) for generating text and images, keyword and SERP research data (DataForSEO, Serper), Google Search Console integration, transactional email (Resend), database hosting and authentication (Supabase), and payment processing (Paddle).

The availability and quality of some Service features also depend on the availability of these providers, over which we have no direct control.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee specific SEO outcomes (rankings, traffic, conversions): generated content is a tool, not a promise of results.

We are not liable for indirect damages, or loss of profits or data arising from use of the Service, except where applicable law does not permit limiting liability (e.g. willful misconduct or gross negligence).

9. Suspension and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the app or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise stated at the time of subscription.

We may suspend or close your account in case of non-payment, breach of these Terms, or use that endangers the security of the Service or of other users, giving reasonable notice where possible.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. If changes are material, we will notify you (by email or in-app notice) with reasonable advance notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City, competent court], except where mandatory law provides otherwise (e.g. consumer protection).
